Lauren Courter
Toxicologist, Co-Founder
Lauren is a founding scientist with Mount Hood Environmental. As a principal investigator, she has lead several water quality evaluations for water user groups and forest resource companies within the Pacific Northwest. She specializes in evaluating herbicide and pesticide use in and around surface water and its impacts on aquatic life and human health. Her breadth of knowledge and experience expands through the fields of carcinogenesis and neurotoxicology. Lauren received her B.S. in Biology from Pacific University and Ph.D. in Toxicology from Oregon State University, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Developmental Neurobiology at Oregon Health & Sciences University in 2009.
