Jessica Buelow
Habitat Restoration Project Manager
Jessica has over twenty years of experience implementing stream restoration projects in Idaho and Wisconsin to conserve and enhance habitat for resident and ESA-listed anadromous fish. Her expertise spans all aspects of project development, implementation and monitoring, including cultivating landowner and stakeholder relationships, acquiring project funding through grant writing, collaborating with engineers to develop restoration designs, contracting and budget management, permitting and environmental compliance, and construction oversight. With extensive knowledge in fish biology and population dynamics, Jessica brings invaluable insight to any project team, making sure restoration design addresses habitat limitations effecting fish productivity and population bottlenecks. Jessica holds a B.S. in Fisheries and Limnology from the University Wisconsin – Stevens Point and an M.S. in Fisheries Resources from the University of Idaho. Jessica loves spending time outdoors with her husband and children camping, boating, biking, hunting, fishing, skiing, and foraging for berries and mushrooms.
