BIOLogical Technician

At Mount Hood Environmental, Jessica is biological technician focused on data collection and collation for a variety of fisheries and amphibian research projects. Jessica brings 10 years of field experience and is well-versed in salmon and steelhead spawning ground surveys, sturgeon tagging, fisheries sampling, brood stock collection, high lake surveys, and various adult and juvenile salmonid trap work. Recently, she enjoyed her time on CRTFIC’s Pacific lamprey translocation project where she led the collection and transport of lamprey throughout the mid- and lower-Columbia region. Jessica is a graduate of Mount Hood Community College with an Associates in Fisheries Technology. She is a native Oregonian and in her spare time you can find her spending time out in the woods mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and hiking with her two dogs.
