Katie Kennedy
Spatial Data Analyst
Katie is a Spatial Data Analyst with a background in stream habitat research. She supports various projects and clients through data analysis, visualization, and management. Katie joined MHE in 2024 after completing her Master’s in Fisheries Science from Oregon State University, where she researched methods for quantifying juvenile Pacific salmon and steelhead habitats using remote sensing and GIS data. Prior to her graduate studies, Katie earned a BS in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont and assisted in research on seabirds, box turtles, songbirds, and endangered tropical frogs throughout the Northeast. Originally from New York, Katie enjoys exploring new hikes and swimming holes all over the Pacific Northwest.
